Brexit – TAE position paper

Brexit comes as no surprise. For years, there have been signs that the EU is losing support amongst its Member States.

We must reconnect with the public and regain their trust in the EU. Greater national sovereignty is part of this.
In the interests of Europe’s future, the EU’s responsibilities must be redefined. Subsidiarity and deregulation are of central importance in this regard. The same applies to the definition of European values and their defence.
